What Sam Thinks

I wanted a wash and wax that felt effortless but still delivered that freshly detailed look. This one nails it. It cleans beautifully and leaves behind a smooth, glossy finish. A true staple in the range.

Rhino Shine Wash and Wax is a pH neutral maintenance shampoo formulated for detailers who want gloss-boosting performance without the complications of protection layers. Designed with high-foaming action and a dual wax system, it combines both natural and synthetic waxes with gloss enhancers to visibly brighten paintwork with every wash. The result is a shampoo that restores visual clarity and depth while remaining completely safe for ceramic coatings and sensitive finishes.

Although primarily intended for bucket washing, the formula performs exceptionally well through a foam lance, producing thick, stable foam that helps to loosen dirt and lubricate the wash stage. It rinses cleanly with no residue, streaking, or unwanted film, making it ideal for routine maintenance on vehicles where a flawless finish is the priority. It does not interfere with existing protection and is compatible with all exterior surfaces including paint, plastics, trims, and glass.

The product is fragrance-free and supplied as a vivid green concentrate with a recommended dilution of two percent. This ensures excellent economy across all sizes, from 500ml bottles for enthusiast use to bulk containers for trade. While it does not offer meaningful protection or hydrophobic effects, it leaves the surface clean, glossy, and reflective. It is safe for use in sunlight, provided the product is not allowed to dry on the surface.

Rhino Shine Wash and Wax is not suitable for matte or satin finishes, as the gloss-enhancing elements are designed specifically to intensify shine. For all other finishes, it delivers a slick, satisfying wash that makes even routine cleaning feel professional. Developed and bottled in the United Kingdom, this is a product built on real-world detailing experience, designed to perform without compromise.

Dilute the product at a ratio of two percent for best results. This equates to 20 millilitres of shampoo per litre of water. For standard wash buckets, add approximately 40 to 60 millilitres to 20 to 30 litres of warm water, adjusting as needed based on contamination levels and desired foam thickness.

Rinse the vehicle to remove loose debris. Apply the product using a wash mitt and two-bucket method or through a foam lance if preferred. Agitate the surface using straight-line motions, starting from the top and working downward. For foam lance use, allow the foam to dwell briefly but do not allow it to dry on the surface.

Once cleaning is complete, rinse the vehicle thoroughly with clean water and dry using a dedicated drying towel. Avoid allowing the shampoo to dry in direct sunlight. The product will leave the surface streak-free, clean, and visibly glossier after a single wash.

Rhino Shine Wash and Wax is safe for use on all standard automotive finishes, including clear-coated paint, gloss plastics, chrome, glass, rubber trims, and ceramic-coated vehicles. It can be used across the entire exterior of the vehicle without risk of staining or interference with existing protection.

The product should not be used on matte or satin finishes, as the gloss-enhancing components are formulated to intensify reflectivity. Using it on matte surfaces may alter their appearance. If in doubt, consult the manufacturer of the vehicle or surface coating before use.

This shampoo is designed to be gentle yet effective, making it suitable for frequent maintenance washes on both daily drivers and show vehicles. Always follow dilution instructions and avoid use on hot panels or in direct sunlight where the product may dry prematurely.

We are detailers
Made by Detailers, for Detailers

We started Rhino Shine because we were tired of weak, watered-down products with fancy labels and no backbone. Every formula we sell is used in our own detailing vans day in, day out. If it doesn’t work in the field, it doesn’t make it into the bottle. Simple as that.

Made in the UK
Manufactured in the UK

We don’t outsource quality. All Rhino Shine products are developed, manufactured, and bottled right here in the UK. That means tighter quality control, faster turnaround times, and the kind of consistency you can build a business on.
