Rhino Shine Tar and Glue Remover is a powerful solvent-based formula engineered to dissolve bonded contaminants without damaging paintwork or disrupting protection. Designed for professional use, this product melts through tar, glue, sticker residue, tree sap, and road film with ease. It is slow flashing to allow extended contact time and deeper penetration, making it ideal for thorough decontamination work.
When applied to fresh or baked-on tar, the effect is immediate and visual. Contaminants begin to break down on contact and can be seen physically melting off the paint. For heavier contamination, allowing the product to dwell increases effectiveness, especially when combined with gentle agitation using a soft cloth or applicator.
This product is clear, unscented, and leaves no residue behind. It is suitable for spot treatment or full panel wipe-downs depending on the level of contamination. For best results, use after the main wash stage when the panel is clean and dry. This allows maximum contact with the surface and avoids dilution from residual moisture. The product can also be used before washing, but care should be taken to avoid cross-contamination.
Rhino Shine Tar and Glue Remover is supplied ready to use in 500 millilitres with a professional trigger spray head and 5-litre trade sizes for high-volume users. Built for valeters and detailers, this formula delivers serious cleaning power and results that are clearly visible within seconds.
Work panel by panel. Ensure the surface is cool, clean, and dry for best performance.
Spray directly onto the contaminated area and allow the product to dwell for up to one minute. You will visibly see tar deposits begin to break down and run from the surface. For stubborn residues or adhesives, allow longer contact time and gently agitate using a soft towel or applicator pad.
Once the contamination has lifted, wipe the area with a clean microfibre towel. While the product leaves no residue, it is good practice to rinse the panel afterwards to remove any remaining dissolved material and ensure complete cleanliness.
Avoid working in direct sunlight or on hot panels. Do not allow the product to dry on the surface.
Rhino Shine Tar and Glue Remover is safe for use on painted surfaces, glass, and metal trim. It is compatible with waxes, sealants, and ceramic coatings and will not strip or compromise protection when used correctly.
This product should not be used on plastic trims or textured exterior plastics, as it may cause fading or discolouration. If contact occurs, wipe away immediately and rinse thoroughly. It is not intended for use on interior surfaces or delicate finishes.
Always test on an inconspicuous area before full application, especially on sensitive or unknown materials.
